Photographers, serious or not, they shoot photos just because they thought 'I want record this scene!'.
Selection has been done that way already.

When they back home, sit on PC, impression/scenery/sound/smell had been gone.
Thus, selection/re-touch is done under such a environment.
It's a dark-room work, its a creative work. Serious photographers do it well.
But, it usually requires SPECIAL ability to remind most valuable factors at the scene when the picture has been shoot.
So, for usual photographers, "just upload" works, I think.
All of your photos are the best selection, already.
